And I agree that retiring at the top of her game is a good idea. But I can't help hoping that she'll do a Grumpy Old Bookman semi-retirement...

In any case, I guess I'd better amend my post.

Sign.

(PS followed you profile back. It tends to be oriented toward publishing people and journalists rather than writers of fiction, but they have outstanding profiles/interviews with agents.

Miss Snark is retiring? Ack!!! There's a small fee for joining, which tends to narrow down the members to those who are serious about their writing, and lots of agent guest columnists giving really helpful answers to questions. A large proportion of the members are agented/published and they give very useful advice. I've known some of the people there for years and they've been so supportive to me while I struggled with my writing career. Most of the members are American but there are plenty of Canadians and Brits, along with Aussies, Kiwis and, I believe, some South Africans as well.Eliza Grahamhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06366249915039505394noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8371628584376797540.post-24327928449395156482007-06-08T02:41:00.000-07:002007-06-08T02:41:00.000-07:00Great list of sites, David.I've heard rumours Miss...Great list of sites, David.

I've heard rumours Miss Snark is retiring.
