David Isaak's blog about his debut novel SHOCK AND AWE--plus thoughts on writing, reading, publishing, joining the Macmillan New Writing family, and whatever else comes to mind
Charles raises an excellent point about spouses and offspring getting all the ink. I would encourage Charles and all writers to claim love child status of famous but obscure celebrities, especially dead ones. Love child of Field Marshall Montgomery and Jean Harlow for example. Are they dead?
I'm the product of a one-night stand between Dan Brown and Tom Clancy. (What can I say--they were speaking at the Tailhook Convention, the drinks were flowing...these things happen.)
So far it hasn't done me any good--though it does make me write a really bad sentence every so often.
The post has a sort of sequel, but I'm not sure I'm ready to talk about it yet. Bear with me.
And while I'm here, have you tried reversing the 's' and 'p' in blogspot in your blog address? You'll end up somewhere you don't expect. This seems to apply to all blogspot, sorry, blogpsot addresses...
I know they try to make you think you need to register to leave comments. Nope. Just Post as 'Anonymous' and say who you are in the body of your comment. (The little verification code seems to time out in about ten seconds, so you'll probably have it spin round and demand you type something else. Don't give up.)

Wow, that "blogpsot.com" site is sort of a surprise!
Who knew Our Lord and Savior was watching out for typos?
