Roger Goes Pro

Now, here's a real newsflash: Roger (RN) Morris has announced that he has retired from his dayjob to become a fulltime writer. Not bad for a fellow who published his first novel less than two years ago. Indeed, on reflection, not bad for anyone in this crazy business.

Then again, I can't think of anyone more deserving.

I am titillated by your disappearing posts, David. At the weekend we had one with a classy German title which immediately vanished; this morning there's one about Atlantis (an appropriate topic for a lost post...)

Is this part of your blogging strategy, or is their a Secret Blog, controlled by a shadowy Vatican-Caliphate conspiracy? Now I've stumbled on the truth, I suppose you'll have to kill me...

Hi, Tim--

Perhaps you can see into the future. Advance glimpses of a few blog posts...

Don't let the CIA or NSA find out. Who knows what they might try to do with this awesome power!

(I think I'll post that German one now. I'm about to go on travel.)

Hi David, thanks for posting this. A number of factors have come together to make this not so insane as it appears. One is having another Porfiry Petrovich novel to write, with quite a scary deadline in place. Another is Rachel returning to fulltime work for the first time in many years. I won't truly be a fulltime writer, as part of my day will be taken up in childcare - post 3.15pm anyhow. But the kids are that little bit older now, so they look after themselves fairly well, until something goes wrong.

If you want an update on how it's going, my blog now has a short film.
