How Do You Do That Thing You Do? Edward Charles' Involuntary Contribution

Edward Charles, author of In The Shadow of Lady Jane and the forthcoming Daughters of the Doge, is up to his ears in his fourth historical novel. I would, of course, welcome any additional comments he wishes to make about his procedures, but in fact he has already outlined his working methods on his website. Of course, writing historical novels involving actual historical figures introduces a whole diiferent sort of structural element to the process...
